"Extremely disappointed in Chris Bryan - filed a claim weeks ago after a toilet backed up and damaged my 1st floor and basement ceiling. I can't even get in contact with Chris or anyone at state farm and no one is telling me why my claim is not being updated. Highly recommend going somewhere else for your insurance needs- really hurts having such poor service when your home is damaged."

"State Farm is a number one carrier to avoid. They operate like its 1970, making anything extremely tedious for clients. I’ve been waiting for my refund for over a month since cancelling. This Palatine agency’s stuff has been giving me a new answer on why my refund hasn’t been processed, they seem to be order takers with no accountability. Stay away and buy from any other carrier just not State Farm!!!"

"If I could give 0 stars I would.
Sorry to say Since Bill Belmonte passed away his State Farm branch in Palatine has not been the same. It is now owned by Chris Bryan who is from Louisiana,( not from Illinois) who reorganized Bill Belmonte's staff after 55 years of serving the Palatine area. ( they no longer work there) I received a voicemail stating that my auto policy was not going to be renewed because of too many claims...(blew my mind,what claims?)..I have not made any claims since I went back to Bill Belmonte in 2024( aka Chris Bryan), no accidents, no tickets. I did have 2 roadside assistance calls. 1 for a dead battery and the other for a tow service. I did some further investigation and found that they had 5 roadside assistant claims!! I just received a phone call from Chris because I went in to find out what was going on and he said that they just changed their "guidelines" and since I have only been with State Farm since 2024 (2 and 1/2yrs) that anything less than 3 years can't be appealed. So reason for termination was roadside assistance??? I asked for a regional director, corporate number, any information of whom I may contact to dispute this.....then I thought why would I want to give State Farm my business? Chris Bryan's customer service is lacking and obviously with no accidents, no tickets and no life insurance policy with them I guess he sees me as despensible customer. If you are looking for an insurance company I would advise to seek elsewhere. Oh and I might add in the past 2 and 1/2 yrs that was the 2nd time speaking with him."
